MCD Family Members,

The time has come for us to begin preparations for the 2025 family reunion in Williamsburg, Virginia.  The reunion committee has been busy working on the initial preparations for the reunion and has secured a rate at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Hotel for $169.00 per night + fees and tax. (3 nights minimum stay) Also, a complimentary deluxe continental breakfast is available at the hotel for each registered guest.  When you book your hotel reservation, please mention Mirault Cuyler-Dowse Family Reunion or use the link provided below.  The last day to book your room at this family rate is Tuesday, June 3, 2025.  This rate will not be available after June 3rd.

• Dates: July 24, 25, 26, 27, 2025

• Hotel : Holiday Inn Express & Suites Williamsburg

• Reunion Registration Fee: ages 13 and above $125.00, ages 5-12 yrs. $75.00 , free for children under 5 years old. Registration forms will be available shortly.

• 2025 Reunion planning committee consists of William Curtis (Committee Chair), Lauren Curtis, Bobby Clark, Susan Rivers

 The committee is planning exciting activities for your enjoyment in Williamsburg. The    tentative schedule includes the following:

• Thursday, July 24 (Evening)- meet and greet at the hotel

• Friday, July 25 (Day)- golf outing (Optional), Busch Gardens (Optional), Colonial Williamsburg Tour (Optional)

• Friday, July 25 (Night)- Small group dinners

• Saturday, July 26 (Morning)- Family meeting

• Saturday, July 26 (Midday)- Family picnic in local park

• Saturday, July 26 (Night)- Family banquet

• Sunday, July 27 (Morning)- Pancake house outing (Optional)

Hotel reservations should be made early to ensure the family discount. Remember, the last day to book at the family rate is June 3rd. Use this information to help you get your plans in place for our family reunion. We are looking forward to reconnecting, sharing stories and making new memories.

Dear MCD family,

I hope this message finds you well! We are so excited to start the planning of our family reunion in 2025! It’s the perfect opportunity for us to reconnect, create new memories, and celebrate the bonds that make our family so special. 

We wanted to update you on a change regarding the location for our upcoming family reunion in 2025! After careful consideration, we’ve decided to move the reunion to Williamsburg, Virginia. We believe this location will offer more convenient accommodations, better facilities, and a fantastic setting for all the fun activities we are planning. See brief details below. 

Dates: Thursday, July 24th - Sunday, July 27th, 2025

Location: Williamsburg, Virginia (exact venue details to follow)

Activities: We’re planning a mix of family-friendly activities, including a meet and greet, an excursion, a banquet dinner and plenty of time to enjoy each other’s company. Williamsburg offers a wide variety of activities and excursions (not included in the reunion package), such as Busch Gardens, Historic Jamestown and various museums. 

We’ll be sending more information soon, but in the meantime, please take this time to save the date! As you gather with family during the upcoming holidays, make plans and mark your calendars!
